Position Overview.

The Sr. Java engineer will implement backend Java applications within a Wildfly application server.  You will work in a dynamic environment with all aspects of project implementation and delivery.  The ideal candidate will have strong skills and proven experience with requirements gathering, design implementation, and support of existing and new applications that integrate intra-company and external business systems.

Major Duties and Responsibilities.

Enhances and Supports existing Java applications.

Performs designing, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of existing deployments

Participates in architecture, design, and code reviews

Works with the test team and build team to fix defects and assures that the product builds are high quality.

Works with architects, project management, business owners, and other engineers to estimate plan, design, test, and release new solutions according to agreed-upon specifications.

Works independently and collaborates well with others.

Follows and improves our design, verification, build and release processes.

Background & Experience.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent experience

3+ years of Java experience in a high-volume production environment.  Primarily focused on backend development.

• Complex threading application development
• Advanced english required
